Item Status Definition

General Merchandise

New

- New, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). In-tact retail package, unless the item was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.

Like New

- Unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing the original packaging, or in the original packaging but not sealed. The item may be a factory second or a new, unused item with defects.

Used - Functional

- The item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used.

Used - Non Functional

- The item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear. This item may have been a floor model or store return that has been used.

Repaired

- Repaired by a technician.

Checked Assets

- Item has been tested/checked and found one or all of the following remarks:
- Working but with obvious defect on its parts and/or accessories
- Working but with minimal defect that can be repair
- Working but incomplete parts and accessories
- Partially Working but incomplete parts and accessories that may effect its ability to operate correctly.
- This item does show noticeable wear, it may have marks, scratches, cracks, small nicks, or dings.
- May have function defects, obvious physical defects, missing manuals and accessories may have no Packaging.
- Any findings as declared on the extended description.

Salvage and/or for part-out

- An item that does not function as intended and is not fully operational. This includes items that are defective in ways that render them difficult to use, items that require service or repair, or items missing essential components.

Plant Equipment and Machinery (PEM)

Unused

- Has never been used (less than 20 hours/1,500 km).

Excellent

- Limited use; probably shows some evidence of handling and use, but in practically new mechanical condition.

Very Good

- In exceptionally good mechanical condition; may have been over hauled or may never have been used enough to require overhaul.

Good

– no known mechanical defects, except as detailed in the Additional Notes field; in operating condition, but may have some worn parts that will need repair or replacement soon.

Fair

- Has seen considerable service and may require general overhaul soon; may be old or may have suffered hard use.

Poor

- Has seen hard service; is worn and needs repair.

Automotive

Run & Drive

- Body and Paint condition, Interior is clean and tires are in good condition.

Run & Drive

- Body and Paint Condition has scratches but reapairable. Interior fabric/leather and tires are of normal wear and tear.

Running

– Body and paint has dents and scratches but repairable. The interior fabric/leather needs reconditioning. Tires are of normal wear and tear.

AS IS

– Body and paint has dents and scratches but repairable or panels need replacement. The interior fabric/leather needs major reconditioning. Tires are worn out.

AS IS; Part Out

– Body and paint has major dents and scratches or panels need replacement. The interior fabric/leather needs replacement. Tires needs replacements.
